In addition to our aviation products, CoPilotSoft has a thriving consulting practice due to our relationships with other mobile solution firms and value-added resellers. We've developed a framework of useful tools that we use to create high-quality custom mobile applications with a short turn-around time.

Examples of projects that we have developed for clients include:

Inventory Tracking: CoPilotSoft developed an inventory tracking system with Symbol wireless intelligent barcode scanners. We developed a custom application that communicated securely in real-time over the internet with the client's asset tracking system. Efficiency and accuracy was greatly increased due to the solution being un-tethered and being able to provide real-time feedback to the user when there are issues with a transaction.

The project was so successful that CoPilotSoft was asked to extended the solution to include a cell-phone version (J2ME) of the same application. Using a bar-code reader attachment that clipped onto the cell phone, the real-time asset tracking capability was expanded from existing warehouse and distribution points to include equipment at customer locations.

Inspections: CoPilotSoft developed a cell-phone application (J2ME) that allowed field personnel performing inspections to use their cell-phones to take pictures, add voice annotations, fill out forms, and then send the information to the client's central server.

Sales: CoPilotSoft developed a WAP/WML website to assist field sales professionals by providing secure cell phone / smart phone access to sales tools and information, and initiate the order process.
